Deutsche Wertlager is an independent private custody and secure storage provider based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, with other facilities across the globe.
We provide secure, professional storage solutions for physical bullion and other qualifying high-value assets. Our purpose is straightforward: to provide a reliable custody environment where valuable physical assets can be securely held, properly documented and released only in accordance with established authorization procedures.
Deutsche Wertlager is a custody and storage provider, not a bullion dealership. We do not position our services around buying or selling precious metals. Our focus is on the secure safekeeping, custody administration and documentation of assets entrusted to us.
We believe that professional custody requires more than physical security. It also requires clarity, accountability and appropriate documentation.
Deutsche Wertlager operates high security warehouses in the world’s most important financial centers, and offers a range of attractive options for long-term, short-term and in-transit storage, including bonded warehouse. In our warehouses with state-of-the-art security technology, your items are always in safe hands and fully insured. Assets are held within a professionally controlled storage environment supported by layered security measures, controlled access and established monitoring procedures. For the protection of our clients and the integrity of our operations, we do not publicly disclose sensitive operational security details.
We believe clients should clearly understand the nature of their custody arrangement. Our objective is to provide clear documentation and defined procedures relating to the deposit, custody, access, inspection, transfer and release of assets.
Physical assets held in custody remain subject to the applicable ownership and custody documentation. Our role is to safeguard and account for assets entrusted to us, while acting only upon properly authorized instructions.
Deutsche Wertlager is particularly focused on the secure custody of physical precious metals, including qualifying gold bullion.
Depending upon the custody arrangement and supporting documentation, asset records may include relevant identifying information such as weight, fineness and other available asset identifiers. Appropriate custody and inventory documentation can provide clients and their authorized representatives with a clear record of assets held in storage.
Our commitment is to provide a discreet and professional custody service built around secure storage, controlled access and clear accountability.
We understand that clients who entrust physical bullion and other high-value assets to a custody provider require confidence not only in where their assets are held, but also in the records, procedures and authorization controls surrounding those assets.
Deutsche Wertlager exists to provide that confidence through secure custody, clear documentation and a professional approach to safeguarding valuable physical assets.
